This traveling exhibit is presented by the Wisconsin State Historical Society to commemorate the struggle against segregation in the City of Milwaukee 50 years ago. The exhibit will be placed in the Jones Gallery on the 2nd floor.
Crossing the Line: The Milwaukee Fair Housing Marches of 1967-1968 commemorates the 50th anniversary of Milwaukee's civil rights marches through a traveling display ecamining the practices and prejudices that led to segregation in Milwaukee and chronicling the school desegregation and fair housing movements of the 1960s.
