Good things are happening in Greater Jefferson County. Recent headlines have touted the addition of hundreds of jobs and the expansion of key infrastructure. Unemployment levels are at historic lows.
Yet even as our economy is thriving, the county struggles to meet demand for workforce housing, employers can’t fill vacant positions, and barriers such as lack of access to childcare and transportation are keeping some out of the workforce.
This year’s Legislative Luncheon features a conversation about the state of economic development activity in Greater Jefferson County, as well as NAIOP’s legislative priorities that support economic development.
