8th Grade Reality Check

The 8th grade FBLA students at the Fort Atkinson Middle School get a peek at the future with a trip to the Reality Fair. The Chamber of Commerce Staff hosts a fate booth, amongst several member businesses who offer a glance at their services for the students. The experience simulates the financial realities of becoming an adult. Students make their way around the room to collect their pay check, purchase a vehicle, pay their energy bill and other life necessitates. This event is one of many that the Chamber partners with the school district on as part of the Chamber's Workforce Development initiative.
