Help the Jefferson County Literacy Council ignite change in your community!  The JCLC is a community-based adult education organization that provides free basic literacy, English as a Second language, Citizenship, Computer Literacy and pre-GED instruction.  The organization seeks volunteers throughout Jefferson County to work with adults one-on-one or in small groups. It is the mission of the Jefferson County Literacy Council to build a better community through literacy.

The organization’s team of dedicated and well-supported volunteers are essential to helping those in the community with literacy challenges achieve their educational goals.  Currently, the greatest need for volunteer tutors exists in Watertown, Fort Atkinson and Jefferson.
