Todd A. Berry has been President of the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance (WISTAX) since 1994. WISTAX is a privately funded and widely respected nonpartisan organization dedicated to improving government through public policy research and citizen education. Prior to that, Todd combined private business experience with service in state and local government. For 10 years, he was a marketing executive for one of the state’s oldest food manufacturers. In the late seventies and early eighties, he was Wisconsin’s Assistant Secretary of Revenue. Berry has served on a number of gubernatorial, legislative, and agency commissions or task forces and holds master’s degrees from Harvard University and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Senator Stephen L. Nass, born in Whitewater and a Graduate of Whitewater High School, received his B.S. at UW-Whitewater in 1978 and a M.S. Ed. in school business management in 1990. Nass was a former payroll benefits analyst and information analyst/negotiator. He was a member of the Wisconsin Air National Guard (retired, 33 years of service), and served in the Middle East in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Nass is a member of the following organizations: American Legion; Veterans of Foreign Wars; Mukwonago Business Breakfast Club; Jefferson Co. Agribusiness Club. Whitewater City Council 1977-81; UW-Whitewater Board of Visitors 1979-89. Nass was elected to Assembly 1990-2012; elected to Senate 2014.
