Over the years, Rainbow Hospice Care – one of the state’s few remaining independent and non-profit hospice programs – has established itself as a leader in the field of end-of-life care. We’re known for many things including fiscal sponsorship of Consider the Conversation, the Emmy-nominated PBS film series that helped catalyze nationwide interest in advance care planning; our state-of-the-art inpatient hospice facility in Johnson Creek; and our robust community-based palliative care program that is helping prevent unnecessary suffering among those living with advancing chronic disease.
Come join us on Thursday, April 4th when we host our 15th Annual End-of-Life Conference at the Country Inn & Suites in Fort Atkinson.
FYI - the theme for this year’s conference is TAKING IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL and the single track program (no breakout sessions) will feature keynote addresses by:
Kenneth J. Doka, Professor of Gerontology at the Graduate School of The College of New Rochelle and Senior Consultant to the Hospice Foundation of America; and
Anthony Anderson, an Iraq War Veteran who serves as a mentor for Veterans seeking healthy, peer to peer assistance dealing with PTSD, substance abuse, depression, and suicidal ideation, along with understanding the concept of moral injury. Anderson will also screen Almost Sunrise, the 2018 Emmy-nominated documentary in which he appeared.
