Ambassador Feature: Jeanne Schulenburg
We're proud to highlight more members of our Ambassador program today! Jeanne Schulenburg works at Jones Dairy Farm
, and also serves as an ambassador for the chamber.
What do you do professionally, and what do you love about your job?
I work at Jones Dairy Farm and my official title is Alternate Channels Sales Coordinator. My primary focus is working with our national retail accounts like Costco, Sam’s Club & Walmart. I also assist in coordinating events and special projects within our Sales & Marketing department. I am very fortunate to work for a six generation family owned company that treats their employees like family. The best thing about my job besides my Jones family is the endless sampling of the best bacon, Canadian bacon, and all natural sausage in the country!
What is your history with the Fort Chamber?
My involvement in the Chamber started almost twenty years ago when I was hired as the Office Manager. My favorite part of the job was meeting and working events with our Chamber members and community leaders. I also enjoyed promoting Fort Atkinson to visitors, potential new residents and new businesses. While at the Chamber I was also involved in Project LEAD. In 2005, our class raised funds to install mile markers on the bike trail which was new at the time. Being an Ambassador for the Chamber allows me to continue to promote Fort Atkinson and give back to the community.
What is a fun fact that people might not know about you?
I love snowmobiling! I have been riding or driving them since I was a kid. It is a great winter hobby I enjoy with my family. The more snow the better. I always say if it is going to be cold, we might as well have snow on the ground.
