Evergreen Studio Opens Doors in Fort Atkinson
Danielle Dunham has been an art teacher for 12 years and is currently employed at an elementary school in Elkhorn. Her dream was to open an art studio, however, and when she saw the bright, open space above Humphrey Floral & Gift, she knew she found her studio’s home.
Danielle hopes to eventually showcase and sell work from local artists and artisans, but until then, her studio offers a variety of classes for kids and adults, and the space can also be used for art-themed group parties. Kids’ summer camps have themes like “the great outdoors,” and “wizards and fairies.” Danielle’s studio is focused on the process of creating, moreso than a prescribed outcome. One of her sessions encourages family members to collaborate on a project that can then be displayed in the home.
Fort a list of upcoming classes and open studio hours, visit www.evergreenfortatkinson.com, or stop in at 6 Milwaukee Avenue East, Suite A.
